Do I need a ticket for the fan shuttle from Kerepes?

In 2026 the circuit described the Kerepes–Gate 3 buses as free fan shuttles. The HÉV train itself is regular public transport, so you need a valid fare; holders of 72- and 96-hour Budapest Cards could use the dedicated race services. 2027 arrangements are not yet confirmed, so check before you travel.

Is general admission good at the Hungaroring?

General admission is the cheapest way in and lets you move between viewing areas, but you have no reserved seat. The track is in a natural bowl, which helps visibility from some banks. Check our price page for the current cheapest general admission and grandstand tickets and which grandstands are sold out.

Can I drive from Poland to the Hungaroring?

Yes. From Kraków or Katowice the usual route runs through Slovakia to Budapest, and you need electronic motorway vignettes in Slovakia and Hungary. From northern Poland flying is often simpler. Use our trip calculator to compare fuel, tolls and flights; its figures are editable estimates, not quotes.
