What is the difference between grandstand and general admission?
General admission lets you into the circuit’s spectator areas without a reserved seat, so you stand or sit on banks and can move around. A grandstand ticket gives you an assigned, usually numbered seat in one stand. At Spa, for example, Bronze is general admission, while Silver and Gold add a grandstand seat.

It depends on the race. The table below compares the cheapest available official 3-day general admission and grandstand prices from our data, with the date each was checked. Where a price is unknown, such as general admission at Madring, we say so rather than estimating it.

Is a grandstand worth it?
A grandstand is worth it if you want a guaranteed view, a place to sit all day and, in some stands, a roof. At Spa only some stands are covered, according to the organiser. General admission suits people who want to explore the circuit and spend less on the ticket.
