How do I get to Silverstone by public transport?

There is no station at the circuit. Take a train to a Silverstone transfer station, such as Milton Keynes Central, Northampton, Banbury, Oxford Parkway or Coventry, then a pre-booked shuttle bus. Journeys take about 40 to 80 minutes. Train and shuttle are sold separately, with no combined ticket available.

Is there a shuttle bus to Silverstone?

Yes. Official shuttle buses run from nearby towns and stations, including Towcester, Buckingham, Brackley, Northampton, Milton Keynes and Banbury, dropping passengers about two minutes from the Abbey and Brooklands entrances. National Express and Megabus run official coach services from major UK cities, dropping fans a few minutes’ walk from the Luffield Entrance. All shuttle tickets must be booked in advance.

Can I drive and park at Silverstone?

You can, but traffic is notoriously heavy. Official Park & Ride sites near major roads, such as Sixfields and Bicester, cost £8 per person per day for the return bus plus a £10 vehicle pass. As of 16 October 2026, the circuit said booking before 31 March 2027 gets the cheapest advance prices.
